Social media giant, Facebook, relocated their Middle East headquarters to a new G+2 building in Media City. The new building serves a headcount of 560 people and accommodates a café space serving over 150 people, an event space, a games room and a year-round roof space enabling staff to work and socialize in a variety of settings.
Whilst Facebook have commonalities between their global offices, they also celebrate localisation through choice of material, specific detailing and artwork selections. The design is effortlessly “Facebook”, with a simple yet decisive palette utilising the brand colours where appropriate whilst balancing the tones with natural materials. Occupying the entire building, the final space offered employees a fantastic environment to focus, collaborate, socialise and recharge.
