Following the success of the Public Area redesign, SAY Studio were further tasked to fully renovate the Guest Rooms within the Ibis Hotel with the intention to take them from a 4-star to a 5-star rating and aligning them with the Grand Mercure brand. Given some of the challenges due to the proportions of the rooms, the team had to work diligently, applying specific expertise, in order to achieve the star rating upgrade. The design utilized a very simplistic palette taking inspiration from the 1920’s with subtle detailing, aligning the look and feel with the redesigned Public Areas.
