Grand Mercure Hotel, near Dubai’s iconic airport zone, was previously split between Grand Mercure Hotel and Ibis Hotel. SAY Studio were engaged to redesign the Drop-Off Area, the Main Entrance Lobby, the All-Day Dining facility, and the Business Center of the Grand Mercure. along with fully renovating the Guest Rooms within the Ibis Hotel with the intention to take them from a 4-star to a 5-star rating.
The team developed an understated yet modern design taking inspiration from the 1920’s with subtle detailing and choice of materiality.
